YOGA

Our yoga classes are 60 minutes of space for you to get out of your head and into your body. 

 

Whether you want to move and work or totally, utterly, and completely unwind ~  Our team of wonderful, knowledgeable teachers will guide you to listen to your own body as you practice, making our sessions accessible for the curious, the practised, and everything in between.

Flow - Our primary style of yoga at STUDIO 9 is Flow Yoga. The type of yoga focuses on the connection between breath and movement, and the mind. It is based on the principles of Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga styles. Often referred to as Flow because it moves from one pose to another in a continuous, smooth way. The best part is, each teacher brings their own experience to this class, so each flow will be different depending on the teacher. Expect to feel energised and uplifted.

Mandala Flow - moving 360 degrees around the mat, this class starts and ends with a short yin section also. 

​

26+2 - Ourr Hot Yoga Class, following the classic hot yoga sequence in 38 degrees, where repetition and consistency are key, rooted in Hatha - so no flow here.

 

emPower Yoga + emPower Pilates - for those looking for a bit of a physical challenge or build strength for intermediate poses

Gentle Flow - a slowed down flow class in which you will feel calm and serene. 

​

Rest - a restorative yoga practice, with added mindfulness. Our slowest and most gentle practice.

​

Yin - Our slow deep stretching class. Sometimes challenging, but you can expect to feel calm and peaceful at the end of this class. We use all the props, gentle music and hold poses for 3-5 minutes to get a deep stretch and flexibility gains.
